C.A.R.E. Criteria

Introduction

The C.A.R.E. criteria are used when evaluating a review:

  • Clear — The review must be clearly written and understandable
  • Applicable — The review must be generally applicable to this type of submission
  • Relevant — The review must be relevant to this specific submission, generic comments are not acceptable
  • Executable — The review must contain advice on what to do next and how to do it. That is, the client should be able to act on the advice in a meaningful way.

There may also be additional evaluation criteria, depending on the type of submission review.
