Alan Hamm

Alan is our Director of Business Development. As a business owner and an entrepreneur, he brings over 40 years of experience to EntreBahn. His knowledge of the inner workings of small and medium sized business gives us valuable insights into formulating and implementing our outreach programs.

Alan excels at identifying new market opportunities and building new strategic partnerships, especially with Chinese business people in Canada and China. His marketing efforts with many S.E. Chinese businesses have assisted them to connect with, understand. and approach the Canadian marketplace.

Alan is a facilitator who built his and others’ businesses through his skills and connections with a broad range of business influencers.

In addition to his work at EntreBahn, Alan is involved with Strategic Financial Solutions, a performance-based Merchant Capital Adviser, which facilitates private and public Mergers and Acquisitions for land, buildings, and businesses. The financing arm of Strategic Financial Solutions provides capital though resources such as banks, institutions, investment funds and private investors.

Alan also gives back to the community as a VP & Director of the ACCE (Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs) as well as being a Director of Grannies Pantry (assisting those in need with food & clothing) and The Cambridge Food & Wine Society. His past board memberships include YRAP (York Region Abuse Program) and The Alzheimer Society of York Region, and many others. He remains active in all The CBAs (Chinese Business Associations) in the GTA, and is a past Chapter President of BNI (Business Networking International).

Alan attended Sir George Williams University in Montreal. While there, he was Vice President then elected President of the Science Students Association of 5000 members.
